So what in the world does this page have to do with geocaching? Hmmm… well let me think… There is an Earthcache at Old Faithful Geyser. You can find it here…  Other than that probably not much.  I just think it is incredibly cool that you can watch one of the natural wonders of the world on a streaming web broadcast and I thought I would share it with you all.

I wonder if you could have someone snap a picture of you off of the web broadcast standing in front of the geyser there to submit your Earthcache entry.

Regarding the video link below… there is an annoying audio loop that repeats… Good information the first time or two but if you are an avid geyser watcher like I am then you will probably want to mute this.   Also, the camera is controlled by the naturalists in the park.  If they happen to see something going on with other geysers you will see them move the camera and zoom in on the activity.   You can see geysers like Beehive and Lion and if you know where things are located you can also identify what might be in eruption based on steam clouds.
