<p>I&#8217;ve had my GPS unit for quite awhile.  In fact I even knew about geocaching but never really embarked on the adventure until this past summer.   I must say after about 30 cache finds so far I am hooked!</p>
<p>Geocaching, for those of you that are curious is an international &#8220;treasure hunt&#8221; of sorts.  Individuals will hide a cache that may contain small trinkets for trading, and post the coordinates to this cache online for others [...]]]></description>

<p>I was quite happy when I received my email of new caches from geocaching.com that someone had placed a cache in our area AND it was relatively close AND it was winter accessible.&#160; I just had to jump on the opportunity to go searching.&#160; It could be my New Year&#8217;s first.</p>

<p>When I think of winter I don&#8217;t necessarily think of geocaching.&#160; In our climate here in the Pacific Northwest, there is just something about the thought of trudging through inches, if not feet of snow looking for a hidden container that is not real appealing to me.</p>
