 If you watch the RSS feed on the home page you will notice that there seems to be an ever increasing number of geocaches being exploded by the bomb squad. One of the more recent being an ammo box located in a industrial/office park that was near an airport. I can’t help but wonder if these types of things continue to happen what the ultimate result will be to the sport, or worse yet what the [...]  Today (12/23/08) in Waynesboro, PA another geocache was interpreted by the local authorities to be a device of unknown origin and potentially dangerous. You can read the article here… They ultimately ended up blowing it up and are now searching for the person that placed it. In this day and age where you just can’t be too careful I can fully understand individuals (ie. muggles) being overly cautious when they see a stranger hide something [...] |
