I’m Back…

Interesting how life gets in the way of some of the fun things that we enjoy.  Fun things like geocaching, or blogging.

For those of you that frequent thegeocaher.com or used to frequent the blog when it was being updated, I am renewing my commitment to periodic postings which means I am going to also be renewing my commitment to my geocaching adventures so that I will have something at least remotely interesting to write about.

On the planning tables at this point are a few of things…

1.  Cache Maintenance.  I’ve started working on a bit of an article that I hope to have posted next week on maintaining the caches that you own.  Not quite sure where it will end up but as I venture out on my cache inspections I’m sure something will come up.

2.  A Cache Course in Geocaching.  Since I like to hide caches I thought I might use it as an opportunity to teach people that are new to the hobby what they might find when out searching.  Thoughts here include various cache types, etiquette about swag, geocoins, logging, etc…  Very much in its infancy but certainly a project I intend to embark upon.

3.  Finally I’ve been thinking about a blog article on cache containers.  Not just on what you might find out there, but perhaps even some techniques on creating them, what they should include, etc.

So there’s my agenda.  I’m still here… and as in the picture above… we will rebuild the content.   Thanks for visiting and as always your comments are appreciated and welcome.
