 If you watch the RSS feed on the home page you will notice that there seems to be an ever increasing number of geocaches being exploded by the bomb squad. One of the more recent being an ammo box located in a industrial/office park that was near an airport. I can’t help but wonder if these types of things continue to happen what the ultimate result will be to the sport, or worse yet what the [...]  You may recall in my earlier post I had been reading about these cute penguin geocoins in a few blog posts and I had to have one. I tracked down the website where I could actually buy them and placed my order for one copper and one brass finish. Hmmm… well let me think… There is an Earthcache at Old Faithful Geyser. You can find it here… Other than that probably not much. I just think it is incredibly cool that you can watch one of the natural wonders of the world on a streaming web broadcast and I thought I would share it with [...]  For some, Geocaching is all about the search, all about finding that hidden cache. The journey there and what you see often falls into second place or worse. For me the journey is the best part. Especially for those hunts that take us into the mountains of North Eastern Washington. I enjoy the Jeep ride, the fresh air and the gorgeous scenery. Green meadows, dark fern covered valleys and trees that reach the sky. All [...]  As winter sets in for those of us up here in the northern hemisphere the treasure hunt that is geocaching becomes more difficult. You will notice I did not say impossible, just more difficult. Many roads and trails become impassible and since many geocaches are somewhere on the ground you can run into challenges with snow covering the cache.
